The Business Model of Miro
Miro is an online platform that addresses the problem of lack of teamwork in remote locations/workplaces. The company was founded in 2011 by Andrey Khusid (CEO) and Oleg Shardin and already has locations in various cities around the world such as Tokyo (Japan), Sydney (Australia) and Amsterdam (Netherlands). The headquarters of RealtimeBoard, Inc. dba Miro is located in San Francisco (California, USA). The very clear and simple user design of the whiteboard makes it easy for users to work together on ideas over long distances and to implement them as if they were in the same room. The online "whiteboard" is inspired by the philosophy of the artist of the same name, Joan Miro. Because each board is a completely new way for users to give free rein to their creativity through the huge range of working tools. The mission is to enable teams, whether in schools, universities or companies, to come up with the next big idea.
