GSK was formed in 2000 by the merger of GlaxoWellcome plc with SmithKline Beecham plc. In 2022, the company changed its name from GlaxoSmithKline to GSK and separated its consumer healthcare business to form Haleon. During the recent years, the company underwent many changes in order to put patients first and improve access to medicines by using its huge global reach and impact. It transformed its business model by accelerating R&D, opening up research, and exploring new strategies for distribution and partnerships.
