The Business Model of Calendly

Calendly is a platform where appointments between two parties can be organized online. By defining certain time periods from the customer or provider side, one avoids time-consuming email contact for arranging appointments. The provider side explains in this case clear parameters such as duration, period and the content to be discussed of a meeting. Likewise one can indicate optionally still data such as addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, etc., if these are relevant for a smooth meeting. Thus, the customer can orientate himself on the mentioned data and prepare for the meeting. This avoids a considerable loss of time and quality in scheduling. As soon as the customer side has reserved a certain timeslot, it is automatically saved in the integrated calendar of both sides. Almost all major calendar providers can be integrated into Calendly's service. The plug-in can be easily inserted into any website and saves both parties communication time and costs. The product offers a free version with the option to upgrade to a Pro version that starts at $8 per month.
