The Business Model of Artnight
Aimie Carstensen Henze and David Neisinger launched Artnight in 2016 in Berlin, Germany. Artnight's goal is to host creative workshops at bars and restaurants conducted by local artists. Online booking is available for the painting classes. The "Artnights" run approximately two hours and take place in convivial rounds in local taverns and restaurants. The start-up was formed to allow people to unwind after a hard day with a glass of wine and, if desired, a custom painted painting. A course costs approximately 40 euros, the maximum number of participants is 25, and all materials are provided on-site. Following the success of the event "Artnight," they expanded their business strategy and launched the brands "Bakenight," "Shakenight," and "Plantnight." While Artnight and Bakenight are primarily attended by females, Shakenight is consistently attended by both sexes.
